Wine tasting

For the first time, the vineyards and the winegrowing in this region were documented in 643 AD. Certainly, vineyards has to be in existence prior to that, otherwise it would not have been possible to sign over a vineyard by mentioning the name of a certain vineyard. It can be assumed with certainty that also the first vineyards existed around the city of Boppard, on the hills, but not beyond the "Bopparder Hamm".
