Cycling and montain-biking

Those who love to ride a bicycle will enjoy the cycle tracks along the riverbanks of the Rhine, or through the vineyards, as well as cycling through Boppard’s urban woods. The UNESCO world heritage valley offers plenty of possibilities for cyclists. On your way through the valley, you will find a whole lot of temporary wine parlours, discover picturesque villages and townships with their twisting alleys and ancient houses, all of which invite the bikers to rest a while and enjoy the view.

There is a particularly interesting highlight in Boppard’s Urban Forest (Bopparder Stadtwald): Here you can find the mountain biker’s stretch called ‘Bike Park Boppard’, which is decorated with the Silver Star of Sports since 2006. This route is well-known and appreciated by mountain bikers well beyond the country’s borders.
